Energy Audits

Compliance with the International Energy Conservation Code (2000), as currently amended, is required by several municipalities and some States. Compliance with the Code provides verification that a property is operating efficiently and in compliance with municipal regulations.

Our report includes descriptions of *access and egress routes, and interior accessibility. Cost effective remedies are recommended for deficiencies identified during the on-site inspection. Upon request, cost-benefit analyses for modifications are included in the report.

Benefits:

  • Lower energy costs for the building will increase the estimated net revenue available for debt service.
  • Lower energy costs will increase the Net Operating Income (NOI) for the property.
  • Increased market value of the property.  (Increased operating income/ Capitalization Rate)
